Are Your Bartenders licensed or certified?

In Virginia, bartenders and servers do not require a specific "bartending license" to serve alcohol. The concept of a bartending license as a mandatory requirement is not a standard practice in Virginia or in many other states. Our staff fully trained and certified. We are selling our services, not liquor, so no liquor license is required. For events, the host is responsible for obtaining the alcohol license and purchasing the alcohol. We assist with submitting the One-Day Alcohol Application—be sure to call at least 30 days before your event. Early submission is encouraged, as the final deadline is 14 days prior to the event. The approved license must be displayed at the mobile bar on the event day. You can apply for the license here: Virginia ABC One-Day Banquet License.

How many bartenders do I need?

50 Guests – 1 bartender
50-75 Guests – 1 bartender/1 barback
100-150 Guests – 2 bartenders / 1 barback
150-200 Guests – 3 bartenders

Do you provide barbacks and servers?

Yes. We highly recommend having a bar-back with our bartender when you have more than 60 guests. This is important to keep your bar running smoothly. The Barback will keep the bar fully stocked and the surrounding areas.

Barback: $50 per hour
Server/Busser: $50 per hour

How long does it takes to set up?

Usually it takes the bartenders about 45-60 minutes to set up the bars (depending on what kind of event it is). For weddings, if there is only 1 bar setup, setup usually takes around 1-1.5 hour.

What do bartenders/mixologist bring with them?

Each bartender has their own bar kit. They will have all the equipment they need to bartend. Their kit includes, speed pours, shakers, bottle openers, spill mats, an ice bin, and a garnish tray.

What's included in the garnishes?

Different packages include different garnishes. Basic Garnishes– lemons, limes. olives, cherries. Premium Garnishes– this set includes lemons, limes, cherries, olives & any garnishes needed for the specialty cocktails, for example pineapples, cucumbers, mint, peaches, mangoes,, marshmallows, chocolate or whatever the cocktails garnishment requires.

What is a customized drink menu?

The customized cocktail menu is a customized drink menu that we can create for you. For example, if you are having a party and you have a favorite fruit, lets say mango, we’ll create a cocktail with pineapple for the occasion. We can create up to 3-4 drinks per event.

What type of payment do you accept?

Cash, Apple Pay, Venmo, PayPal, Cashapp and Credit/Debit Card

Service charge, tip jar or gratuity?

We do not have a service charge or a gratuity requirement. Gratuity  are greatly appreciated and the amount is left up to the client’s discretion. Please keep in mind that the bartenders are serving the same guests for the whole duration of the event/wedding. Usually clients will choose either to tip the bartenders in advance or allow us to display an event-appropriate tip jar so that guests can tip the bartender if they please.

Are you licensed?

For events, the host is responsible for obtaining the alcohol license and purchasing the alcohol. We assist with submitting the One-Day Alcohol Application—be sure to call at least 30 days before your event. Early submission is encouraged, as the final deadline is 14 days prior to the event. The approved license must be displayed at the mobile bar on the event day. You can apply for the license here: Virginia ABC One-Day Banquet License.

Are you insured?

Yes! Our Bartenders are insured, but your event is not! For an additional fee ($60) your event can be insured up to $2 million. You can apply for a "special event insurance" that will cover your event.
